WARRANTY / GUARANTEE

Art of Painting and Custom Restoration, LLC. provides a 3-year workmanship warranty on all labor and materials beginning upon completion of work described in your contract, this only applys for exterior services. If paint failure occurs, we will supply labor and material to correct the condition without cost to the customer. Exact color and/or finish match is not covered under this warranty due to environmental changes all paints undergo over time.

The warranty provided by Art of Painting and Custom Restoration, LLC. excludes, nor will AOP be responsible for consequential or incidental damages resulting from the following:

● Any performed work where the materials were not solely supplied by Art of Painting.
● Any work that was not performed by Art of Painting.
● Repairs to any horizontal surfaced, varnished surfaces, or any surfaces that are exposed to excessive moisture and/or foot traffic. Surfaces include, but are not limited to, decks, railings, stairs, porches, sills, and wooden gutters.
● Paint bleed-through caused by wood knots, rust, or cedar.
● Cracks in drywall, plaster, or wood surfaces caused by expansion and contraction of the surface.
● Blistering, peeling, chipping, flaking, or excessive chalking where they are caused by:
● Ordinary wear and tear.
● Abnormal use and/or abuse.
● Peeling or any other failure of coating layers below those applied by Art of Painting.
● Structural defects, including, but not limited to, settling, movement, and sheering.
● Abrasion, abuse, coarse cleaning, exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, or any other harmful solids, liquids, or gasses.
● Damages caused by fire, smoke, explosions, floods, acts of God, extremely severe weather, alterations to original work, vandalism, negligence by owner or owner’s representative, or any other similar causes that are beyond the control of Art of Painting and Custom Restoration, LLC.

Single coat paint jobs and certain lower grades of paint specified by the customer may not be eligible for our two-year warranty. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied.
